Reading
Please send book bags into school by Thursday. If the book has been read to an adult and finished, we will send a new one home on Friday. If your child has a longer book, please don't feel you need to rush through it within a week, just bring it back when it has been finished. Please remember to write down in the reading record when an adult has listened to the book being read.
Class Dojo
Most of our communication is done through Class Dojo. You can see updates on what we have been doing each week and view any announcements or news. There is a messaging feature on the app so feel free to message us and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
PE
Our PE slot is Wednesday. Please wear suitable clothing in the school uniform (polo shirts/T-shirts, leggings/jogging bottoms and trainers.)
Clothing
Please make sure your child wears school uniform and suitable footwear every day, unless they are VIP. All children need to wear school uniform for any external trips.
Snack
Please send your child in with a healthy snack and a bottled drink each day. Snacks could include things such as fresh fruit or vegetables, yoghurts or cheese. No nuts please.
Maths
There are lots of ways to help your child with their Maths at home and times tables are one of the most important. You can find games online and songs/videos on Youtube to help learn and practise tables regularly for a good recall of facts.
Topmarks is a great website with a whole range of Maths games to play at home.
